The Cliffs of Insanity!!!

Okay...so I just came back from the best family vacation I've had in a really long time.  I love my Family.  I drove instead of flying to Northern VA because I wanted to bring my dog Jackson.  Which...I've come to the conclusion through this trip that he is a narcaleptic when he gets in a car.  He slept the entire way there and the entire way home.  He was a hit with the fam.  Andy liked to tell him to "Doh Det the squirrel" (Mocking his soon to be in-law).  Anywho...on the way back to TX, we stopped to see George, Tori, Jon, Ryan, and Leigh Lester (my family as of Dec. 19, 04) in Southern VA.  George and Tori live at a house on Smith Mountain Lake.  Tori took us for a nice excursion on their pontoon boat on Monday, which included a trip to some cliffs to go cliff jumping.  We had a lot of fun. 

This is just a picture of the cliffs I found on google.  Anyways...the 3rd time we jumped, tradgedy struck.  My wedding ring slipped right off my finger.  I think it was due to my recent weight loss.  I came to the surface and said "Oh crap...my wedding ring slipped off.  I'm gonna try to dive to the bottom to see if I can feel around for it.  Some guy standing by says "Dude...this water is over 100 feet deep right here.  Kiss it goodbye.".  And Rebecca said "Babe...even if the water were shallow, you're not Smeagle.  You're not going to find some ring at the bottom of a lake".  Man...way to crush my spirit.  At least she wasn't royaly P.O.'d.  I think we both were somewhat glad that we were dirt poor when we got married and couldn't afford expensive wedding bands.  So we went and got one comperable to what I had before.  Which by the way...buying gold at wal-mart is so much better of a deal.  We went with a 5.5 mm, 10 k gold ring.  This exact same ring at Kay's, Helzberg, and Gordon's, was more than $100 more expensive than the one at wal-mart.  It really is the exact same ring.  Same amount of gold, same thickness.  Just a better deal.  And if wal-mart has to special order it, it'll be there in 3-5 days.  I know it feel's kindof cheap to buy jewelry at wal-mart, but I don't think the name of places like Kay's is worth a $100 mark-up.  Well...I guess that's all for now.

Okay!  I've been tagged by Rachel and Rebecca.  I don't know why they think I'd be a good cantidate to list wierd things about myself.  I mean....I'm a perfectly normal person.  With no quirks!  Right   Well, being that everyone who really reads or comments on my page has already been tagged and also that I have no idea how to link users...I'm just gonna list my quirks.

1) I avidly hate Miracle Whip.  And I hate when people think it's the same thing as Mayonaise.  Yuck!!!

2) When my throat is sore from allergies, I make a noise that drives my sisters crazy.  Rebecca is a little more compassionate conserning my PAIN AND SUFFERING and doesn't threaten to end my life!

3) I have OCD tendencies.  I'm not fully OCD.  I just have certain things that need to be a certain way.  ATD is what I like to call it.  Attention To Detail!!!

4) I love Scottish accents.  I could sit and listen to anyone with a Scottish accent speak for hours.  It wouldn't matter what they were talking about.

5) My sisters pointed out to Noah Lester (That's right girls...you're busted!) that I like to convince people to do things that will be a great laugh for me, but usually end up being painful or embarrasing for them.  I think I'm just drawn to people who will take any dare in the name of a good laugh!  Chet is usually a good sport!

6) My friend Randy Fauss pointed out that when I like something a lot...I always say "It's the Best Ever!!!"

Pope John Paul Returns!

So I don't know if you guys ever saw the headlines for this.  But every major news network did a story of this not too long ago.  The Pope!!!  John Paul!!!  Appeared in a campfire!!!

Now my reaction was probably the same as what yours is right now.  No way!!!  What a doctored up, load of crap!!!  But I am here to tell you that I have become a believer.  On Christmas day, I was cooking some peppers and onions, and behold.......HE CAME TO ME!!!  See for yourself below!!!

Isn't it amazing how much it looks just like him!!!
